One of Englands famous docks, where ships once unloaded their cargoes, there is now various of visiting narrowboats, motor cruisers and the occasional yacht. Although, its nota functioning dock anymore, they still bring plenty of attention from tourists, especially with the Quays outlet centre. The warehouses have been converted into flats and the Gloucester Waterways Museum and the Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum, which actually contains information about my great grandfather during the first world war.

I took these shots at the beginning of summer last year, I haven’t shot during the golden hour in a long time so it took a while to get the right settings, I’d definitely want to do this again now knowing what I do now. I also tried something different during the editing process, i decided to enhance the colours rather than dull them like I usually do, I actually quite like it.
