Originally called Calcott Hall, this dairy farm had been left to rot since the 1970s. The owner of this manor died and there was no other family members to claim the property so the house was left as a time capsule with documents, books, furniture and clothing- more infamously a Red Dress hanging up in a wardrobe, hence the nickname.

I was amazed to find all of this still left in the house, however it was clear that people had entered the house as there was some more modern items like beer cans and sweet packets. Unfortunately the famous silk Red Dress had been removed and replaced with a woollen replica.
